We were introduced to the community service program. We were to learn about service learning - to help foster a sense of care and concern among students for their community and the world at large. We will be developing our sense of personal and social responsibility. As well as developing basic knowledge and skills in community service strategies, tactics and techniques including the art of volunteerism.
We will be enhancing the interior space of a small library located at Ulu Melaka Orang Asti Village, Serendah, Selangor. With collaboration with Yayasan Salam, Malaysia. Teams are divided among two batches or semesters. I will be part of the sponsorship team, whom will be gathering sponsors of furniture, books, stationery, etc.
